My Story

While born in a town without a strong baseball presence and facing challanges early as an undersized and underdeveloped pitcher, I learned the values of perseverance, discipline, and passion for the game. My journey in baseball has taken me from high school, to summer ball with Reno Muckdogs, to junior college at Mendocino College and working my way up through D2 and D1 baseball to ultimately work as a professional pitcher for the Idaho Falls Chuckars.  Throughout my career, I have worked with coaches and players from all levels, gaining a deep understanding of the game from a technical and mental standpoint. My experience has taught me that success in the game isn’t always about raw talent but about finding the right enviornment where you are valued and can grow. As a professional pitcher who has worked extremely hard to reach the next level , I have spent my time truly understanding the pitching craft. I have a realistic and strategic perspective of how to progress in this sport and I look to pass on that insight and maximize the potential of others through private coaching.

Kirby & X (10 years old), Irvine CA

My son Xavier started pitching this season.  Coach Gary has taught Xavier so much in one season of training from throwing a cutter, missing small, varying pitches, varying his leg kick and also the importance of arm care.   Gary’s teaching shows in Xavier’s results only 1 walk all season.
